Hello. I grew up in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town listening to Heart 104.9 (radio P.4)
on Sundays while my mommy made fresh koeksisters after church.
I watched my older cousins sip on Black Label quarts whilst playing dominoes.
On a good day, we ate a masala steak gatsby cut in 4 from Cosy Corner.
I have assimilated, adapted and am constantly evolving - however -
my roots will forever be grounded in the 021 (Kaapstad).
